This
all-in-one software has a lot going for it. Why mess
around with 3 different pieces of software when you could just
use one to do everything? X2CD rips, burns, encodes,
decodes, and more! The layout of the software is
simple and easy to understand, just hover your pointer over the
icons on the left and a text box appears that tells you exactly
what the button does. The ripping function automatically
(and quickly) accesses the FreeDB system on the internet and
names all the tracks on your cd, saving you lots of time.
X2CD rips to wav or mp3 using the ever popular and great
sounding LAME encoder. Making audio
cd's is a snap, just choose the mp3's (or wav's, or wma's or ogg
vorbis files) you want to burn and click "begin to make
your music CD" and away we go! Also make mp3 format
cd's that play in portable mp3 cd players and other mp3 enabled
